Approach

The brief was simple: "We're shooting a commercial, so let's capture some photography while we're there." Working alongside the video production created an opportunity to capture more than the primary campaign scenes. Between setups, we could stay close to the students and find quieter expressions of the same stories.

This approach gave Jax State a library of images with range, from intimate portraits to active campus moments, while keeping the tone consistent with the larger campaign.
