THE PORTFOLIO OF CHRISTOPHER BAKER

THE PORTFOLIO OF CHRISTOPHER BAKER
More than just words and pictures.
LOCAL TIME:

Creative direction centered on building brands with clarity and longevity.
With more than 15 years of experience, Christopher Baker [Bkr] brings a disciplined approach to creative work where concept and craft are equally considered. This practice is built on direct collaboration with the client.
Disciplines
The work is multi-disciplinary by nature, moving between strategy, ideation, visual systems, digital experiences, image-making, and crafted brand materials.
01
Discovery & Planning
Discovery & Planning gives the project a clear foundation before the creative work begins. It is where the right questions are asked, the existing brand is studied, and the direction starts to take shape. The process looks at where the brand is now and where it needs to go. From there, the work can move forward with more purpose, whether the next step is a visual identity, campaign, website, photography direction, or a larger creative system. It keeps the project focused, realistic, and aligned from the start.
02
Creative Direction
Creative Direction helps define how the final product should feel, how it should speak, and how each decision should serve the larger idea. The idea can then be interwoven through the shaping of a campaign, guiding a visual identity, developing a website, or bringing consistency to a growing body of work. The role is to make sure every piece feels intentional, connected, and true.
03
Creative Production
Creative Production is where ideas become real. From campaign assets and websites to print, social, video, and brand content, the work is created to feel specific to the brand rather than pulled from a template. Each piece is considered in context. It has to look right, feel right, and serve a purpose within the broader creative system.
04
Photography
Photography helps reinforce a brand’s own visual language. It can make the work feel more human and more memorable, especially when the imagery is created for the brand rather than borrowed from somewhere else. Whether focused on people, places, products, or atmosphere, the photography is shaped to support the larger identity and give the brand a visual presence that feels authentic and ownable.
